My dad bought a pair of flip-flops years ago. He wore them everywhere — lake trips, backyard cookouts, long summers with the family. Then he passed them down to me.

I still wear them. Every single day. The soles haven't cracked, the straps haven't snapped. They've just worn in — perfectly — the way a great pair of shoes should.
